Pizza Picturesque – Pizza Snack

Pizza picturesque is a pizza snack that you can make quick and with little to no work. Perfect for busy days. This recipe is by far the easiest pizza recipe I ever created. I used store-bought puff pastry and added whatever I could find in the fridge.

How long will the recipe take me

Puff pastry is fat and needs a long time to cook, so you should reserve almost an hour for this recipe. The preparation of this recipe takes 10-15 minutes, and then you need 45 minutes for cooking.

It’s best to take the pastry out of the fridge 15 minutes before cooking. If you keep your pastry puff in the freezer, it should be removed and left at room temperature a few hours before. Lay the puff pastry on a baking sheet for super easy clean-up. Bake the dough for 15 minutes before adding the ingredients to make sure it has enough time to cook.

During this short cooking time, start preparing your favorite toppings. We made a basic pizza recipe with everything. Our last walk inspired the name of the pizza. We went to a tiny park in our city, and this park is an alley, with a couple of benches and a lake with luxurious vegetation. On the bench, it was a nice lady that said that the view is picturesque. And her words stuck with me and followed me until I finished our dinner. It is a picturesque pizza – you have it all. And nothing complicated: tomatoes, mushrooms, salami, sausages, olives, and cheese. I always had these in the fridge growing up.

After 15 minutes, remove the dough from the oven and add your favorite toppings. Then, cook it for another 30 minutes, at a temperature of 175 degrees Celsius (350 F).

This recipe makes an excellent idea for a party or game night. It will disappear from the plates in no time!

Give that puff pastry sheet a new use: make a quick, delicious pizza snack with any leftovers you have in the fridge. These mini pizzas are a party favorite or a good idea for a late night snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Pastry Sheets
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Topings

  • tomato sauce
  • fresh mozzarella
  • cherry tomatoes
  • small champignons mushrooms
  • black olives
  • salami
  • snack sausages
  • shredded cheese

Instructions

    1. Start the oven and preheat it to 175 Celsius (347 F)
    2. Place the pastry sheets into a tray and brush it with the olive oil, then add it into the preheated oven and bake it for  15 Minutes. In the mean time you can prepare the Pizza Toppings by slicing the ingredients.
    3. Take the pizza dough out of the oven and brush it with tomato sauce.
    4. Add the Pizza Toppings, keeping last the shredded cheese.
    5. Add it back into to oven for another  35 Minutes.
    6. When done cut it in small rectangular pieces and serve it to your guests.
